Interview of Dr. Kim D’Eramo with Dr. Peter Osborne

Dr. Peter Osborne is a chiropractic doctor, Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist, and author of the bestselling book “No Grain No Pain”.

In this interview, he shares:

Through genetic testing, we can discover if a person is gluten or grain sensitive. The body of those with grain sensitivity looks at grain as an enemy rather than a friend, resulting in an inflammatory response.

Your body uses inflammation as a tool so you can repair tissues. But when it grows out of control, that’s where the problem starts. Think about this: Breaking down is necessary so you can build anew. But if you are consistently breaking down, how can you ever rebuild?

Dr. Peter also talks about the prescription-pain trap—how prescription drugs provide temporary relief but also never allow your body to heal completely. 

An aspirin a day may not be a big deal, but when you become consistent users of these drugs, they will strip away the mucosal barrier and lining in your stomach and small intestines. This prevents your gut and body from ever healing. You might be blocking the pain, but you are also causing leaky gut and more pain that requires further medication—that’s the trap.
